Passing of Arizona Medical Marijuana Trailblazer Peggy Noonan

The entire Arizona cannabis community is feeling a great loss this week with the passing of Peggy Noonan. She was truly a staple in this community growing to what it is today.

Copia has provided us with some information about Peggy and the future of COPIA.

Peggy Noonan, CEO and founder of COPIA, passed away on April 10, 2021, after a courageous four year battle against leukemia. Peggy was a pioneer in life, as in with business, and was one of the early trailblazers in the Arizona medical marijuana industry. For nearly the past 10 years, Peggy put her extraordinary energies and talents into building business enterprises that have bloomed into Copia, an industry leader in infused products with the first scratch made cannabis kitchen in Arizona and with leading products, like OGeez!

Peggy will be succeeded at COPIA by Bran Noonan as of April 12, 2021. “For those who knew my mother, it goes without saying that she loved this company and the Arizona community, and bringing the passion she put into the company to others,” said Bran Noonan. “My mother possessed an unmatched entrepreneurial spirt, and as the company moves through 2021 and beyond, we will do so in her honor and by continuing to build upon her legacy.” Bran has over 15 years in business, working as a commercial and business lawyer during that time.”

You can continue to support COPIA and #TeamPeggy by participating in one of COPIA’s blood drives they conduct across the state.
